Comment on the following groups of words to illustrate types of meaning of words and their relationship. Group 1: “took, taught, became” Group 2: “have, has, had, had, having”
Grammatical meaning refers to that part of the meaning of the two word which indicates grammatical concept or relationships such as part of speech of words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs), singular and plural meaning of nouns, tense meaning of verbs and their inflectional forms. In group 1, "took, taught, became" these three words, which have different lexical meaning, but have the same tense meaning or grammatical meanings. In group 2, "have, has, had, having" are the inflectional forms of "have", which have different grammatical meanings both groups of words' meaning belongs to grammatical meanings.
